Nexus 6 vs iPhone 6 Plus

In today’s phone technology world, we have come to a point where less is not more.  We have bigger screens, more features, more technology, and a bigger emphasis on sleek design The Motorola/ Google Nexus 6 is one of Apple iPhone 6 Plus’s biggest competitors, due to the similarities and the slight differences in each phone.

Size and Design

Both phones have increased their size drastically in comparison to their predecessors. Both phones are similar in size. The big difference however comes in the screen display and the overall design.  The Nexus 6 screen is bigger than the iPhone 6 Plus. The Nexus has more room for gaming, browsing the internet, and overall navigation of the phone.  The display is bigger by half an inch, and it also has a greater screen resolution (Nexus: 2560 x 1440 /iPhone6 Plus: 1920 x 1080).

The iPhone6 Plus has its traditional flat body while the Nexus 6 who has the curved back.  The flat body on the iPhone 6 plus will make it a little harder to handle, while the curved back of Nexus will probably make it a little easier to handle.  Which phone has a better grip ultimately depends on the preferences of the user.

Operating Systems

One thing that both phones have going for them are their operating systems.  Because Snapdragon software and iOS software are so different, you can’t really compare. However, what can be said is that both phones work smoothly in switching apps, going on the internet, and overall usage.  You have people who are dedicated to android products, and you have people who are dedicated to apple products. Both users are satisfied with the system each company has place in their phones, and they will continue to use them because they are good operating systems.

The iPhone 6 has an 8-megapixel camera, while the Nexus 6 has an 18-megapixel camera.  Besides this, the iPhone 6 Plus outshines the Nexus with its other camera features.  The iPhone 6 Plus has a f/2.2 aperture which is higher than that of Nexus 6’s f/2.0 aperture. Like the Nexus 6, the iPhone 6 Plus also has a dual-LED ring flash.  In addition to these features, the iPhone 6 Plus has

* 1/3.06-inch sensor

* True-tone flash

* Phase detection

Three of the features that the Nexus 6 does not have.

Storage Options

With how much we use our phones, download apps and store data, we need a phone that can store an ample amount of data.  The Nexus 6 comes with the following storage options

* 32GB

* 64GB

The iPhone Plus has the following options available

* 16GB

* 64GB

* 128GB

Both phones are among the greatest in the market, if not the best.  If a winner in this comparison had to be chosen, it would be the iPhone 6 Plus.  It has better storage options, and its operating system is just as good as the Nexus. Although it has lower megapixels, the iPhone 6 Plus makes up for it with its other features.
